I don't understand the meaning of the Japanese word, "Molotoffano hanakago" and what actually is the bom.

"Molotoffano hanakago" means "a Molotov flower basket" that the author already explained behind the word. I think it decribles the shape of the smog when the bomb exploed in Hiroshima.
